Subject: Dear Barbie
Beasley and I miss you very much, sweetie. I miss your cute fruffly face and the way you cuddle up on the couch with Beasley and me.
I miss your happy, enthusiastic spirit and the way you always are excited about life.
Grandpa didn't mean to trip and fall that day when you got lost. He feels so bad that he scared you and wants nothing more than for you to come home so he can pet you and hug you.
I'm not mad at you for running away and getting lost. I just wish I could understand why you haven't come back home yet.
There are a lot of other beagles running around the countryside, playing beagle games and chasing rabbits. People tell me about them every day. I just wish you would talk with them and find out how to get back home to me.
Please be careful while you are away from home. It's a big world out there, and you are a very special girl.
Honey, even if you never find your way back home, you'll always live in my heart because when I close my eyes I see your beautiful face and can feel your soft fur against my skin.
Please come home, I love you.
