Subject: Search for Barbie Day 6
Whew, what a day.
Since it was Sunday, Becky Rowe, John and I covered about 6 church parking lots with flyers on each car, then combed both on foot and by car through the park area and the alleyways and streets on the north end of town.
Several calls came in response to the flyers, but both were dead ends. One in particular got our hopes way up, when we heard that some people had found a beagle that they were *sure* was Barbie. But when we arrived, it wasn't her.
Two of the three men who had seen Barbie on Hill street at 5:30 pm on Tuesday looked at pictures of her and assured me that the dog they'd seen was really Barbara. I just don't understand how she could be that close to my house and disappear without a trace.
At the end of my rope, I decided to be *certain* that the police would follow up on this. I called the police office and they sent an officer out to look at pictures and take a complete statement. I told him that when he finds whoever is holding Barbie I want to press charges to the fullest extent of the law.
I would much rather have them return her peacefully, but if I have to get aggressive, then that's just what it takes.
Last night, and today I have been catching up on my email in bits and pieces, but now I've had the opportunity to sit down and read things. The offers of help with the "Rescue Barbie" reward fund completely blow me away. I just don't know how to thank everyone enough. I'm going to contact Jamie about administering things for me if possible.
I'm about an inch away from calling an Animal Communicator to see if she can give me any advice.
Please everyone keep praying for Barbie to be returned to me. I miss her so badly.
