Subject: Search for Barbie Day 28

What a day!

I got two calls about possible Barbie sightings while I was at work today, and two more at home. Of the four calls, two were directly attributable to the advertisement, one to the article that was in the paper last week, and one was a young school girl who had been given a flyer at school by her teacher.

Two of the four calls may possibly be the same dog, as they are within about 6 blocks of each other. One was way out in the country south of town, and the fourth call was another report of the beagle that is by the high school.

The man out in the country will be putting out food to hopefully entice the dog he's sighted close enough to see the collar, read the tags, and hopefully put the dog in a fenced area. The school girl will be watching for the dog tomorrow, and she'll try to check for tags on the collar. The man who saw a beagle in that same area will continue watching for her there. The man by the high school will be calling me if he sees that dog in the morning, so because of the likelihood of a call coming early in the morning, I'm going to go to bed early tonight.

It feels so good to have all these extra eyes looking out for Barbie.
