Subject: Search for Barbie Day 22

Boy oh boy, did I ever need that rest last night! I definitely felt a lot more refreshed even though I could have used more sleep. I can tell Beasley really appreciated the time together too.

The Chronicle will be running an article about Barbie and the Beagle Buddies in tomorrow's "Neighbors" section complete with color pictures. The photographer came by my office to take a few pictures of me holding a portrait of Barbie with my computer in the background. I hope the pictures turn out well, and that someone who has seen Barbie will be able to say "Oh yeah, that's the dog I've seen... wherever"

This evening I spent some time evaluating places nearby (in Gas City) that haven't been as completely saturated with flyers, and decided to do some serious flyer-plastering on my lunch hour tomorrow. There is a nice park/petting zoo right down by the river, and several nice dog-attractive places nearby. It's not more than about 5 miles from my house, so it's conceivable that she could be in that area.

I ordered a few more toys for Barbie to play with when she gets home. By the time she comes home, she'll have so many toys waiting that she won't know what to do with them all! However, I want her to know how badly I miss her, and my way of showing it is to have toys and treats waiting for her.

Please everyone keep praying for Barbie to come home quickly and safely,
Leann & Beasley
